Dice
My love of dice began at the very first D&D session I played in 2019.
The click-clack of rolling dice carries a kind of ritual weight. Over time, that appreciation naturally grew into a collection of dice from different materials, shapes, and makers.
That love, combined with a habit of making handmade gifts for friends and family, eventually led me to create custom dice sets of my own.
While I currently do not have the space or equipment to produce new sets at scale, I hope to revisit dice-making in the future as part of seasonal or limited releases.
I am also currently experimenting with ways to recycle 3D print waste into new dice forms, as part of an ongoing interest in material reuse and transformation.
More to come.
My favorite set to date - the request was "Stained Glass Dice"

This was a set I made based on a mushroom character - the intent was to make a little scene featuring mushrooms in each die.

This was a set I made on a whim with some left over material. Only the D20 came out well, but it looked great through the light.
This was another set I made on a whim. Only the D20 came out well, but I liked how the flower looked like a butterfly.
I was going for an opalescent color with this set - these are before the numbers were painted in, but I loved the color!

I wanted to experiment with the new pigment inks I got and made a fun rainbow set!
This particular set was for a friend who was playing a baker in our campaign - each one featured a different type of bread.
These are particularly hard to see, but each contained a small book and were inspired by a bookworm character in our game.
I friend approached me with a request to make D20 ornaments, and they were a blast and came out pretty good!

This was a request for a glowing set of dice. They don't seem like much in the light... but they really popped when the lights turned off!
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This photo is a picture of the set I kept for myself and still have handy on my desk.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for our artificer and featured a gear in amber-tinted resin.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for a character whose magic and themes kept coming back to the color purple. This set was opaque with glitter and some gemstone flecks on the 20.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for a character with water and sea based themes. The resin was tinted to a seafoam green and featured golden swirls.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for our bard - who was just our golden guy and deserved to be presented as such. The resin was opaque with gold flecks.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for our rogue who went by "The Shadow." The resin wasn't quite opaque and featured silver glitter swirls.
At the end of our first big campaign, I made a set of dice for each of the players that contained a die that referenced all of our characters. This was for a character who faced his darkness and found his light. This was also not my best fight against the bubbles, but one of my more favorited color combinations.
Glowing dice are rarely as impressive in the light, but there was still some nice coloration in this combination of colors.
The colors really came through once the lights went out!
