Experiments
Some ideas arrive fully formed. Others need to be built before they can be understood.
This space is for the the latter.
These are working studies—objects made while I am still learning what they want to be. Materials tested against curiosity. Shapes created to see how they behave in the world.
Some experiments will become future offerings. Others will be dismantled, revised, or left as quiet artifacts of exploration.
Nothing here is permanent. That is the point.
Not quite where I want it yet, but an experiment with using lots of different scraps in one project.
Experimented with different materials and tried my hand at a cursed spell book inspired design.
A somewhat random idea - I liked the idea of the shaped greenery designs I was seeing and decided to try my hand at a game controller.
When I was doing a lot of resin work, this was my attempt at the velvet/fabric effect on a paint pallet.
Decided to jazz up a basic poster print with some 3D elements.
First creation with leather.
First experiment with making my own paper by recycling mail.
One of my earlier makes from when I was still teaching.
